Credit Markets Weekly | US Federal Reserve Chairman Powell in the spotlight
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's hearing on monetary policy receives a great deal of attention this week. His statement will have a decisive impact on interest rate expectations.

In the trade conflict between the USA and China, we anticipate a rapprochement in the second half of the year. Markets are monitoring the situation very closely and are reacting quite sensitively to new developments. In our opinion, the trade conflict remains the most important driver of credit spreads.

Eurozone economic leading indicators were once again weak in June. The ECB's continuing loose monetary policy is having a supporting effect.
